Belinda is a bilingual, Spanish and English-speaking, Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  She received her Master of Social Work from Arizona State University in May of 1997. She then received her Clinical Social Worker license in March of 1999.  Belinda has a diverse background in the mental health field working as a Clinical Director for Magellan/Value Options, Inc. where she provided clinical oversight and direction to an outpatient mental health facility that delivered psychiatric and case management services to 1300 consumers; as the Chief Clinical Officer and later the Director of Program Development for PSA Behavioral Health Agency where she supervised the development and delivery of behavioral health services, guided clinical staff, evaluated clinical operations, and developed partnerships with medical facilities to integrate mental health and medical services.


Belinda has been in private practice since August of 2008.  She specializes in treating adults with chemical dependency, codependency, gambling addiction, depression and anxiety, family issues, LGBT issues, grief/loss, marital/couples issues, mood disorders, OCD, PTSD, stress management and women's issues.  Belinda also specializes in treating children and adolescents with behavioral issues, stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and obsessive/compulsive disorder (OCD).


Belinda is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is used for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and trained in Gestalt therapy.
